Free Therapy Services
At The Glori Foundation, we believe mental health care should be accessible to everyone. Our free therapy program offers professional counseling services to individuals who may not be able to afford care otherwise. Through partnerships with licensed therapists, we provide a safe, supportive space for healing, because everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Our Programs & Activities
Mental Health Boat Ride Experience
Experience a peaceful 2–3 hour boat ride along the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie in Cleveland, Ohio, or on Lake Conroe and Kemah in Houston, Texas. Rides are offered on select days (weather permitting), typically the 2nd Friday and Saturday of each month from April through October.
These rides create a calming space for reflection, connection, and healing. By embracing the restorative power of water—what scientists call the “Blue Mind”—participants can step away from daily stress and immerse themselves in an environment that promotes emotional well-being and mental health awareness.
Boating offers more than recreation—it’s a pathway to a tranquil state of mind. On the water in Cleveland, you’ll take in breathtaking views of downtown, the Flats, and scenic spots like Wendy Park, Edgewater Beach, and the beautiful shoreline. Boating in Kemah offers unique and varied scenic views that encompass the vibrant boardwalk, tranquil marinas, and the expansive Galveston Bay. Boating on Lake Conroe is scenic due to its vast expanse with coves and inlets for exploration, abundant opportunities for water sports, and the natural beauty of the surrounding Sam Houston National Forest.

Mentoring Program

Having a non-family member to turn to, relate to and confide in when faced with the variables of life can be life-changing to an impressionable mind and spirit. We feel that building trust and developing a committed relationship with our youth is one of the keys to keeping them on a positive track.
Our mentors work with school staff to schedule times (usually 30 minutes to 1 hour per week) to meet with their student. We hope to pair students with mentors who most identify with their situation or aspirations, however a mentor in any capacity can make the difference!
School Programs

Through our School Partnership Program, The Glori Foundation collaborates with local schools and counselors to provide free, on-site therapy and mental health services for students.
We support young people facing trauma, grief, bullying, low self-esteem, and other challenges—ensuring they receive the care and attention they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Clothing & Food Drives

EVERY child and family deserves clothes on their backs and food in their stomachs. Here at THE GLORI FOUNDATION, we are aware that life can get in the way of being able to provide even the necessities.
A helping hand is all that is needed sometimes, and we try to be able to extend that hand when able. We hold clothing and food drives to pull together the resources of our community, and share them with those who need them.
Luther O. Gibbs Jr. Scholarship
In early 2018, our founder lost the most influential man in his life, his father Luther O. Gibbs Jr. His mother and father taught him the importance of education coupled with a well-rounded portfolio. Thanks to their parents, our founder and his brothers, Terence and Trayshon (deceased), were always afforded the opportunities to be involved in beneficial extra-curricular activities and sports.
From the beginning up until his passing, Mr. Gibbs was a huge supporter of THE GLORI FOUNDATION, and used his experience in education to help his son “MAKE A DIFFERENCE” in the lives of children. He was always willing to help with classes, tutoring and after-care.
In honor of his late father, this scholarship fund will be a programs and activities fund to be awarded to students wanting to participate in wholesome extracurricular activities / clubs / groups / sports, whose grades support their sense of responsibility, but their families may not be financially able to pay the fees and costs associated with these opportunities.
